Proficiency exams
Many people need to take tests like the IELTS, TOEFL, and Duolingo for immigration, work, or study purposes. There are many controversies about these tests such as their level of difficulty and how to get ready for them. Proficiency exams assess the candidate’s speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, so obviously those with good knowledge of English are likely to get better scores in these tests.
At Parseek, we offer preparatory courses for the IELTS, TOEFL, and Duolingo. Candidates not only learn about the format and question types in each part of the intended test but also practice answering questions and receive feedback on their performance. Exam prep courses are useful for those who are at least low-intermediate English users. Therefore, it is recommended to take communicative English courses first and upgrade your English before joining exam prep classes.
Our suggestion is that those who have taken enough general English courses and are ready to embark on exams take exam prep classes for three months to maximize their chances of getting better test scores. Candidates entering exam prep classes are at different proficiency levels and are required to get certain scores. Therefore, Parseek initially conducts an exam prep placement test for the candidates, and based on the test results, desired test score, schedule, and conditions, our counselors provide professional advice and suggest the most suitable preparation plan for the individual.
We offer both group exam classes and one-to-one tutorials, and our exam teachers and counselors continuously support candidates until they achieve their desired results.
